1 Avr 2005, 6:43 | "John Densmore started a new band with the singer of the Doors tribute band WILD CHILD.
He says they will be called "The Doors Mach II". They will do a few Doors covers, but mainly they will work on newer material they have collaborated on, as well as a few jazz covers.
The band is already signed to Verve Records, and is planning a release soon. As to whether the name "The Doors Mach II" will be a problem, John told Rolling Stone Magazine, "Hey, the other guys have a version of the Doors, so I don't see there being a problem. And the Courson and Morrison families have given their full blessing in this project."
