 | Documentary Film 1st-3rd July

It’s Jo here, the filmmaker from London. (We were filming at the Renaissance bar 1st-3rd July)
A big thank you once again to all those to took part in the film.
I’m sorry it’s taken me so long to post to this site, but I had a few problems navigating my way around due to my terrible French language skills!
I will be posting this website and others on a monthly basis to let you know the progress of the film. Next posting is due on or about the 10th August.
For those fans that could not make it Paris on the 3rd, I’ll explain what all this is about.
The crew and I were in Paris from 1st-3rd July to make a short documentary about Jim Morrison, the fans and Le Pere Lachaise cemetery. Unfortunately we were not allowed to film in the cemetery at the weekend and instead filmed the celebrations at the Renaissance bar.
Anyway, I don’t have anything to report at the moment regarding the progress of the film as I’m still sorting out paperwork!
I do however have many production photographs that I shall be posting to the websites (technology allowing!) by the end of the month.

It’s Jo here, the filmmaker from London, with my monthly update.
As you can see the productions photos are on the forum and a VERY BIG THANK YOU to Alex for arranging this. Alex, they look great!
For those of you receiving this update by email, all the production photos are on Alex’s website only. http://homepage.ntlworld.com/doors4scorpywag/.
I have tried to email various photos to all of you, and apologies to those fans who did not receive an email from me, but I’ve been having a few technical problems.
Anyway, I hope you like the photos and if you would like any prints (6x4) please email me: winter.pictures@virgin.net. , and describe the photo the best you can!
My favourite is the b/w image of Samuele with his back to the camera, wearing the ‘Wanted’ T-shirt.
As for the film itself, I am now concentrating on gaining the festival rights to some of the tracks.
Just in case some you are wondering what will happen if I can’t get the festival rights…well I do have a plan! I’m not the type of person that gives up easily. I’m calling it Plan Z because I can’t remember where I was up to! But more about that later, if and when it’s needed…
Unfortunately I will not be able to post my monthly update for September as I am moving home around the same time. But I will be back in October.
In the meantime, if you have any questions, comments or requests for photos, please email me and I will try and get back to you as soon as I can. Or, if you do not want to receive a monthly update by email, please let me know.
