There will be a BMA release of at least one full show this year. End of story.
None of these other releases/remixes, etc. are BMA releases, or are taking ANYTHING'S place - they are distinct, separate, NOT aimed toward you guys at ALL (I think that's what they'd call "preaching to the choir," anyway), and I do not expect any of you to get excited about them. If you do, then great! If not, please remember, they're not targeted towards you in the first place.
The "Love/Death/Travel" limited box will be available in a run of 2,500 to the public ONLY - all contracts are for a finite run of 5,000 with no reprints ever. Expect it in eight to ten weeks....it went into production TODAY!
Look for a news piece on all these goings-on in the next (June 3rd) issue of ROLLING STONE - Ray & I did an interview with RS today.
Secret, no worries - but you did accuse me of bending the truth, prevaricating, lying, or what-have-you...call it what you want, but a rose by any other name, etc.....just chill a bit, and try to be a part of the solution rather than the problem. We are trying to do what we can, AND serve The Doors' fan base, AND keep you guys happy, AND get stuff out there, AND get Elektra on board with our plans. Remember, there are only 8,000 registered users on this site, period, and you guys, although VERY important, nee CRITICAL to us, are not exactly a representative cross-section of our total fanbase. What you guys want we WILL provide, but remember that you are a small minority, and there are not enough people who will BUY BMA live shows in the first place to justify their cost to the label. We are trying our best, we WILL deliver, and I am sorry, but you'll just have to hang back, be patient, and judge us/me by our results.

Quel imbécile, personne ne porte plus ce genre de t-shirt aujourd'hui, et même si j'en voulais, il y en a une cinquantaine différents de disponibles au Rock Junction de la rue Rideau à Ottawa.
Il y a quand même une histoire de DVD, avez-vous des détails, je ne me tiens pas au courant vraiment car j'ai lâché depuis longtemps. | | Citer |
